Highlights

Dr. Chau Yee (Charlene) Ng, MD PhD is a consultant dermatologist, dermatologic surgeon and assistant professor in Chang Gung Memorial Hospital (CGMH) Linkou Taipei Branch, Taiwan. She is the director of the vitiligo clinic and pigment research center, incorporating a specialty clinic and research laboratory. She is also the director of department of dermatology and aesthetic medical center, Jen-Ai Chang Gung Health Alliance. Dr.Ng has published many articles in vitiligo and pigmentation disorders in the SCI journals. She has participated in clinical trials in pigmentary disorders and skin autoimmune disease. She received the National Innovation Award for portable optical coherence tomography skin imaging device in year 2021. She uses basic, translational, and clinical research approaches to understand melanocytes cell biology in vitiligo and pigmentary disorders, focusing on developing new diagnostic tools and targeted treatments.
