Study Area
- periodic medicine, especially high risk pregnancy, prenatal heredity consultation. High risk pregnancy refers to the potential risks for the mother and new-born during pregnancy period. This could result in fetus abnormality and even death, or affect the health of the mother and may even become life-threatening. Prenatal heredity consultation includes; special gene checks (e.g. thalassemia), prenatal heredity diagnosis (e.g. Advanced maternal age induced fetus chromosome abnormality evaluation, maternal down-syndrome screening, fetus chromosome or gene examination such as Amniocentesis, chorion sampling and umbilical blood sampling, high resolution ultrasound examinations)
